Simpsons is the removals company for all your moving needs. In October 1979 founder Barry Simpson formed Simpsons Removals and Storage Ltd and the Kent based company has since become a leading industry brand.

The Simpsons Removals company has always strived to retain its status as a family operation – and we are proud that the business is still owned and operated by the Simpson family. Our values will always remain the same and, even though the business continues to expand, we aim to offer both a personal and professional service to private, business and trade customers alike.

Our fleet has expanded consistently to meet the demands for our first class service; the current fleet consists of twenty removal vehicles. These range from eighteen tonne HGV lorries, down to the flexibility and convenience of a transit van.

Located close to the Thames crossing in Dartford, our main depository is conveniently situated for access to all the major road routes throughout the UK and Europe. There are also five receiving/holding centres across the UK.

In 2001 we bought our current warehouse facility and, perhaps not surprisingly, we relocated ourselves to Blue Hawk House, which offered us the opportunity to more than double the available storage space – to 35,000 square feet. This, together with a 20,000 square foot secure compound, means further expansion in the future is a possibility.

Many well known faces have been attracted by Simpsons’ high quality service. These have included Ruud Gullit, when he returned to Holland after leaving Newcastle United; everyone’s favourite dandy, Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen; comedian, Harry Hill; and the BBC journalist, John Simpson.
